Car 242 · New ProvidenceThe Bahamas Automobile Club — the new FIA Mobility Club for The Bahamas — is committed to developing excellence in advocacy for mobility initiatives, both nationally and regionally.
We promote road safety and the development of road-safety skills, implement FIA Mobility initiatives, and benchmark performance with our regional FIA partners.
We collaborate with FIA-affiliated United Nations and World Health Organization programmes, government bodies in The Bahamas, and international and local partners. Our members serve as Ambassadors for Mobility both within and outside The Bahamas.

The Club year runs 1 January – 31 December. Members serve a minimum of one year, with a maximum of four consecutive years, meeting at least once every two months.

Zero-Tolerance Policy
A strict zero-tolerance policy on alcohol and drug abuse at all Club events, applying to every member, team member and family.
Professional Representation
Members represent themselves and the Club in a professional, well-behaved manner — setting a positive example for others.
No Weapons, No Abuse
Possession of weapons and any violent, aggressive or abusive behaviour — in person or on social media — is strictly prohibited.

All members practise and promote safe driving at all times, serving as positive role models for road safety.

Susan holds a Master's Degree in Economics and Business Administration and is the co-founder, with David McLaughlin, of the EduKarting Programme — a pioneering STEM initiative dedicated to youth development through motorsport in The Bahamas. She teaches Marketing and Road Safety to programme participants, helping young Bahamians build confidence and pursue higher ambitions. With her academic background, an extensive national and international network, and long-term residency in The Bahamas, Susan is uniquely positioned to drive meaningful change. Through the new FIA Mobility Club she continues to champion road-safety awareness, delivering lasting impact in mobility, road safety and capacity building for a safer, more progressive future for all Bahamians.
Wilfried grew up in The Bahamas, where his passion for motorsport was ignited early — kart racing at age 12 and restoring an antique car. After high school he worked as an Assistant Mechanic on the Michael Schumacher 1992 Benetton F1 team during a Historic Grand Prix revival at Zandvoort. A university honours graduate, he now works as an Assistant Audio Engineer at The Sanctuary Studio, Albany, while dedicating his spare time to the EduKarting Programme, where he manages all technical and creative aspects, serves as a karting and simulator driving instructor, and teaches mechanical skills to the next generation.

EduKarting Bahamas is a pioneering youth programme run by the Bahamas Motorsports Association (BMSA), educating and empowering young Bahamians through the sport of karting.
Blending STEM learning, road-safety education and hands-on motorsport, EduKarting builds skills, confidence and opportunity for the next generation. The programme is currently crowdfunding Team Bahamas to compete at the FIA Motorsport Games — across the Karting Slalom Cup, Karting Sprint Junior and Digital Racing disciplines — carrying the flag of the world's smallest motorsport National Sporting Authority.
